A supercharger operates in the lower rev ranges while a turbocharger at higher revs. The combination of these two creates a generous amount of power of 125kW/170hp, constant torque band of 240Nm from 1,500 rpm to 4,750 rpm and low fuel consumption of 7.6 liters/100km.
