This could be my favorite story of the year.
A Chinese person was offended by a band's performance of the song in England, probably because of the lyrics which, of course, include the line "There was funky Chinaman, from funky Chinatown."
The best part of this story for me? The singer was arrested while having lunch at a Chinese restaurant.
It's definitely not a politically correct song, but c'mon. This song was the #1 song in America in 1974. And it's in the kid's movie "Kung Fu Panda." And you'll never get it out of your head if you watch the video below...
